The Middle School Girls Soccer team has been on a roll this week and looking to finish strong against Stonebridge School tomorrow at 4:30.
On Tuesday, they emerged victorious in a nail-biting match against our cross town rivals Atlantic Shores, with a final score of 2-1. Hailey Poag wasted no time and scored a quick goal at the beginning of the match, thanks to an assist from Livia Smith. As the clock ticked down, GCA's goalkeeper, Violet Hudson, made a crucial save to maintain the 1-1 tie with only 3 minutes left on the clock. With less than 1 minute remaining, the Gators sealed the game with a goal by Brylan Weems, assisted by Hailey Poag.
Tonight, the girls came away with a 5-0 shutout win against Portsmouth Christian School improving to 4-1 on the season.
