Mrs. Gina Opena

Mrs. Opena is a devoted educator who firmly believes in Proverbs 22:6, which says, "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it." This verse reflects her philosophy as she strives to nurture young minds and hearts through education.

Gina has deep connections to the military and veteran community. She grew up in an Air Force family, and in 2015, she married her husband Brandon, an active-duty Navy Chief. Her experiences have not only fostered her passion for learning but also provided her with a firm foundation in her Christian faith.

Mrs. Opena is rooted in her Christian faith, which has guided her life since she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She is dedicated to providing the youngest children at GCA with a strong foundation academically and spiritally, reminding them of God's love and purpose for their lives.

In addition to her role as a teacher, Mrs. Opena is a proud mom to five wonderful children. They have taught her the importance of providing a biblically-based education in a nurturing classroom for the development of our GCA children.

Gina serves as a role model who embodies the principles of faith, family, and dedication.  She holds close the words of Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path," believing these words truly do illuminate the path for all of GCA's children.
