Thankfully I can say that I was raised in a Christian home. My parents also sacrificed to send me to a Christian school. When I was around six year old on Easter Sunday, I asked Christ to come into my heart.
I graduated from Maranatha Baptist University with a bachelors in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Minor. That is where I met my wonderful husband Dan. I taught kindergarten in a little Christian school in Pennsylvania before we moved to Virginia. After a few years of subbing in the public schools, I started teaching kindergarten at GCA in 2012. I had the privilege to teach both kindergarten and 3rd grade during my seven years here. When I got pregnant with my daughter in 2019, I decided to enjoy her little years and stay home with her. I am very excited to be back in the classroom this year and do what I love - teach!
