The Junior Collegiate Academy exists to serve students by challenging them to excel academically, develop personal responsibility, and understand the Gospel’s impact on their lives so that they may impact their culture for God's Kingdom.

Dr. Ally Schneck
My name is Dr. Ally Schneck, and I am excited to be joining Greenbrier Christian Academy as
the Upper School Principal.
I am passionate about education and helping students thrive academically, socially, and
spiritually. I began my journey as a high school English and special education teacher, where
I developed a deep appreciation for the unique opportunities and challenges of working with
middle and high school students. Those classroom experiences continue to shape my
leadership philosophy and my commitment to creating engaging, supportive learning
environments where every student is known, challenged, and encouraged to reach their God-
given potential.
After several years in the classroom, I transitioned into secondary school administration,
where I had the privilege of partnering with teachers, students, and families to strengthen
school culture, improve instructional practices, and support student success. Throughout my
leadership career, I have remained committed to fostering excellence in teaching and
learning while building meaningful relationships that help students flourish both inside and
outside the classroom.
In addition to my work in K–12 education, I have served as an adjunct professor at Regent
University, teaching leadership theory and practice to aspiring educational leaders. Most
recently, I worked at Cambium Learning Group, where I partnered with school divisions across
Virginia to support evidence-based reading instruction aligned with the Virginia Literacy Act.
While this role expanded my expertise in literacy and instructional leadership, my heart has
always remained in serving secondary schools and the students, teachers, and families who
make them such vibrant communities.
Outside of school, my husband, Steven, and I stay busy with our two boys—Charlie (almost 4)
and Sully (1)—as well as our two dogs, Philly and Giroux. In my free time, you'll often find me
spending time with my family, reading, writing, hiking, or going for a run.
I feel incredibly blessed to be joining Greenbrier Christian Academy and can't wait to get to
know each of you, our students, and our families. I look forward to all that God has in store for
us as we serve together in the years ahead!
