On February 12, EOD Mobile Unit 10 joined our Gators for an unforgettable day of hands-on learning with bomb disposal tools, robots and Navy diving equipment. Students suited up in combat, dive and bomb gear, operated the Talon 4 robot through obstacle challenges, tried on the bomb suit as well as the 37-lb dive helmet. Our teachers joined the fun as well trying on the bomb suit. We aren’t sure, but it may be the first time a bomb suit has been paired with red cowboy boots! We are grateful for these local heroes who spent the whole day with us sharing their passion for serving God and their Country.
