Purpose Statement

Social Studies instruction at Greenbrier Christian Academy seeks to provide a Christ-centered education using God’s Word as its foundation. Developing an awareness of the lessons of the past, students will be challenged to impact their culture as defined by I Corinthians 10:6 & 11. Greenbrier Christian Academy holds to the historical Christian view of life as presented in the Bible. Instructors will filter historical facts through God’s Word, so as to develop in the students a biblical worldview. Students at Greenbrier Christian Academy will better understand God’s sovereignty and purpose through social studies instruction.
