Purpose Statement

With the Word of God as our foundation, the physical education department at Greenbrier Christian Academy exists to teach Christ-centered education; to give students the opportunity to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord (John 3:16-17); to challenge them physically, mentally, socially and emotionally while striving for godliness (T Timothy 4:8); and to provide programs that will honor God with their bodies (I Corinthians 6:19-20) resulting in improved muscular coordination, flexibility, strength and endurance. We challenge all students to grow in character, self-reliance and self-disciple, so that they will mature in wisdom, stature and favor with God (Luke 2:52).
