Foundations Chapel - April 26, 2017

Shaun Noble, the Preschool and Children's Minister of Great Bridge Baptist Church, led a chapel this morning on facing fears. He talked with the students about what things they were afraid of and listed children's most common fears. He acknowledged the fact that sometimes in life people face dark and lonely times that are scary. Nevertheless, the Bible speaks of a light that drives out fear. Pastor Noble reminded the students of the story of Jesus calming the storm.  While the disciples were afraid, Jesus was sleeping.  When they were panicked and asked for Jesus to help, He calmed the storm with his voice.  Pastor Noble encouraged the students to remember that in the dark and stormy days, Jesus is with them and they do not need to be afraid.
