This morning, Mrs. Dykes talked to students about what it means to be thankful for all things. She asked puppet Diggs about what he prays for. After listing many things, Mrs. Dykes noticed that he had forgotten to pray for something. When the students checked puppet Diggs’ heart they found a blank piece of paper and a glue stick. Students glued letters to the paper which revealed to everyone what Diggs had forgotten in his prayer. The letters spelled out “thank you.” Mrs. Dykes concluded their time by reminding Diggs and the students that they should always give thanks to God, each and every time they pray, for providing them with family, friends, the Bible, and many other blessings in their lives.
